Sridhar Seshadri, the former Head of online sales and operation at Google India, has joined an ecommerce company HushBabies.com. The Coimbatore-based start-up is a specialised player in the baby care ecommerce segment and provides shopping source for parents and parents to be.

In his new role, Seshadri will be the CEO of the baby care provider, and the CEO of its sister firm on parenthood, BabyBox.in. According to the latest update by Seshadri in professional networking site LinkedIn, he will be based in Okhla in New Delhi. HushBabies.com has warehouses in Coimbatore, Bangalore and Delhi.

Seshadri joined Google in October 2007 as Business Head of Financial Services and in October 2008 became the Country Head, Online Sales and Operations, India. He has also worked with ICICI bank prior to Google.
