Ideacts appoints former Director and Head of Yahoo India Namit Pandey as CEO

VC-backed Ideacts Innovations has roped in Namit Pandey, former Director and Head of Yahoo India, as its Chief Executive Officer. Pandey was heading Yahoo India Small Business and Yahoo India Local for the last three years. Before the Yahoo India, he was heading Monster’s Middle East business at VP and GM. Namit has been part of Internet Industry since its early days in year 2000 and brings with him a depth of business experience.

Ideacts is funded by Sequoia Capital India and Saama Capital and has been providing alternate and interesting internet advertising options to brand managers and advertisers, with its flagship product, iCafe Manager Desktop (erstwhile CLINCK Desktop).The organized desktop with integrated Google links, FB link and Brand Communications has been visible on cyber café screens for 5 years now, and has consistently delivered high performance campaigns owing to its unique placement.

Namit Pandey said, “Ideacts is at an interesting stage in its evolution, with tremendous growth possibilities to go beyond Cyber cafes and to other markets. It is only organization in this space and has a differentiated business model. I am excited about the opportunity and look forward to lead this organization at this growth stage.”
